AUSTIN, TX — Lone Star Overnight (LSO), a Texas-based regional package delivery company, is rolling out three new service features for their customers in the company’s continuous quest to deliver excellent value to their customers; LSO Plus delivery expansion, Recipient Signature Required service and 2nd Day deliveries.
LSO, in partnership with the leading carrier in the Western United States, OnTrac, will expand package delivery to seven states and more than 60 million people in the US. Delivery area expansions include all of California and major metro areas in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Oregon and Washington. Shippers simply select LSO Plus to receive the same great LSO service to these states.
LSO also launched their Recipient Signature Required Service, a service the other leading carriers do not offer. This service is like a personal security detail for your critical shipments. LSO drivers will verify the identity of the recipient and get their signature before the package is released for only $10 extra.
Rounding out their robust delivery options is LSO’s new 2nd Day Delivery, with guaranteed delivery by the end of the second business day for shipment destinations in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Pricing for second day deliveries is significantly lower than the leading global carriers’ for the same service, with savings of up to 25%.
